Personal Highlights

From ages 5-15, I trained at Delta Concord Dojo in Jiu Jitsu. I acquired the 3rd degree brown belt.

In 2nd grade I fell in love with the violin, playing it continuously and participating in recitals to this day.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Tennis is one of my biggest passions. I love competition and college tennis will offer me the opportunity to work hard, improve, play and win matches.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been a part of the Student Leadership at my school since freshman year. I was elected the Vice President of the Associative Student Body for the 2018-2019 school year.

I have played #1 on my high school's Varsity tennis team since freshman year. I make sure to encourage and cheer on my teammates whenever possible. I also give them advice on strategy and mindsets before matches. I plan to be a team captain my senior year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

A healthy athletic performance comes with the ability to manage your time and to put in your biggest effort. Off the court, I am able to use my time wisely, finishing my homework with precision and in time for tennis practice. On the court, I put in 100% effort, training hard to improve.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I tutor children of all ages, anywhere from elementary school to high school. Tutoring is important to me because while school may come easily to me, it may be a struggle for others, which is why I like to give back to my community and provide my assistance.
