Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would love to be a part of a college sports team to continue my passion for the sport and be a part of a team. A team is an extension of family to me and I am excited to have that be a part of my College experience. I find that when I’m involved in a sport, my academic stress is in better control. I use my time more wisely and make new friends.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I always encourage my teammates and show positive behavior to encourage others to follow. I stay aware of others needs and feelings and help out as I can. I demonstrate my ability to lead by always standing up for the right thing even when I feel I’m alone in that. I am a good communicator. I will talk to the coach or team mates if something is on my mind. When needed I help coach the younger development team at practices and at meets along side my coach.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by eating a healthy diet and getting the proper sleep balance. I keep a healthy mind by practicing proper breathing techniques to keep my stress to a minimum in stressful situations. Starting every day with positive thoughts is a must in my daily routine. Think positive, I always try to,think positive.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I enjoy helping coach the new and younger divers on the dive team.
