Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because i have found a love and passion through the game. I've been playing volleyball for as long as I can remember. I have built personal relationships with coaches and players that have helped shaped me into the person I am today. Continuing to play college sports will only deepen my passion and hopefully help create a good environment for me to strive in.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I would love to say that I am a leader on and off the court. Being a setter, I was taught how to be a leader on the court. I was able to keep people's spirits up in a tough time and keep the energy alive. I have helped girls overcome hardships within the sport and I am proud to be able to help. Off the court, I would also say I am a leader. I have been able to help people with work, hardships, and injuries. My good friend had a brain aneurysm in 2016. I was able to help her around school and really be a mentor for her in that sense.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been able to help fifth and sixth grade girls in volleyball in 2014 and 2015. I helped coach my cousin's community center team. There, I was able to work with girls to help them get better at volleyball. In 2016, I worked with the setters at my old middle school. There I was just able to warm them up and show them some techniques with setting.
