Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I cannot think of a better way to meet new friends who have a similar competitive drive than participating on a team. It teaches discipline, teamwork and leadership skills. Playing sports has been such an important part of my life since a very young age that I do not want to give it up in college. In fact, I hope to excel in sports in college as well as academics. Hopefully, someday after my playing days are over I can give back by coaching or working with kids in sports in some way. I think playing in college gives you legitimacy to do these things in your life.
