My Kings Hammer Academy team has moved to the Midwest Regional League after previously playing in the Ohio State South League and the Buckeye Premier League.
As a sophomore, I played JV and Varsity (2015). Again, we had another very good defensive year. We didn't get scored on much, we had about another dozen shutouts. I got my first taste of varsity and performed well in limited action. We had a couple of senior goalies at my high school.
As a junior, I started varsity and was named Regional Honorable Mention 2016 (http://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/high-school/kentucky-high-school/2017/01/15/fall-all-stars-2016-nky-girls-soccer/96622732/). . We struggled at times defensively. We had a lot of challenges due to injuries and players switching positions. After, we settled in, we played well. I had 10 shutouts in 21 games. I am looking forward to my senior year.
I come from an athletic family! My Mom (5'11'') played volleyball at perennial powerhouse Notre Dame Academy in Fort Mitchell, KY and my father (6'3") is a multisport athlete who attended Archbishop Elder high school in Cincinnati. My half brother, Colin Faris swam the 50 meters for 4 years at the University of Kentucky and went to the Olympic Time Trials in 2012. He is a club swim coach in Nashville. My older sister Briana (6'0") graduated from Tiffin University (D2) and was on a Volleyball Scholarship. She coaches volleyball for KIVA. My little brother Mac (6'4) plays. basketball. We love sports and being together.
My Mom coached me in soccer until I was 11. I started playing for Kings Hammer Academy when I was 12.
My goal, like my siblings, is to play soccer on scholarship and get a great education.
I hope you can come see me play.
My NAIA ECID # is 0414184
As the Goalie, it is my responsibility to run the defense on the field for team. Thankfully, I am comfortable with this and I think I am a natural leader.
I train 3-5 times a week with the Kings Hammer Academy soccer team. I also participate in Unified track and bowling. In school I take a class to help high school students with disabilities develop their gross motor skills. I usually end up running and lifting weights with these students.
I deeply love to volunteer. Every year I volunteer for kids soccer camps which has been well over 80 hours of help. I do as much as I can to help those with disabilities with events like bake sales, dances, holiday celebrations, and after school care. I also have volunteered many times for Master Provisions (an organization to help those in need).
