The 16U Diamond Bandits had a successful weekend in the "Showcase in the City of Lights" Tournament in Vegas Halloween Weekend. I worked so hard in the off season . My senior year waiting ahead of me, attended several summer camps. I recieved alot of good coaching from all the camps I attended, then , the season is here ! I can't wait to get going and lead my team on and off the playing field. Well we finished our last tournament of the year in Myrtle Beach. Not a bad weekend but we did have a couple of mix ups in game times. I hit the ball better on Sunday than I did on Saturday but there is still a lot I have to work on. I'm going to take a couple of weeks off then start an intensive conditioning program at a local gym. Have finally changed schools and I am loving it. Going to Central H.S. Have started working out with the softball team. Can't play this spring because I played fall ball in Georgia. Coach Cook is letting Leah and I work out as though we were going to play and on game days we will be the managers. so yea i have a passion for basketball..but i was never able to play for my school's team bcus i.ve been working ever since my junior year trying to help out with the bills around the house..yhu kno stuff like that. but i knpw i can play...im basteball material...i wouldnt say that im the best but im good and im progressing thanks to my bro and streetball. but palying ball is kinda a big dream that i got i really do hope that one day in life i can play for Duke University!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a chance to practice playing 1st Base this weekend. I did pretty awesome at it. Being tall with long legs helps stretch to reach the ball. I also practiced out field and did a few rolls in the grass but came up with the ball in my glove. My mom is trying to figure out how to get the grass stains out of my pants. :)

Our team won the regular season championship and the team tournament championship for our conference. We had 5 set Varsity players so I played 5 Varsity matches this year. I played 3 Varsity B/JV (counted in JV avg) matches at regulation yardage and 12 JV matches.
