One Day Tournament Results

We had an awesome tournament today. We played 3 games--20 minute halves with a running clock until the last two minutes of the game. Our games were at 4:00, 6:00, and 8:00. My legs were like noodles by the time we were done. We won all three games. In the second game we were behind at halftime by around tweny and came back and won by one point. It was awesome! I had a combined point total of 38 for the tournament--19, 13, and 6 pts respectively. I didn't play as much in the 3rd game since

Wats up im Jonathan Smith of da jonesboro cardinals varsity footbal team #4. Right now our record is 3-2(2-1).I play receiver and safety Were currently ranked third on our side of our region n #1 n #2 seed we haven't played yet. District is in 19 days and I really feel my team is for real. Were in a 4 horse race for 3 spots with not much difference distingusising favorites and letdowns between teams. The way I see it, its Sharyland, us (Mchi), Donna and La Joya Palmview. Right now we are a solid 3 possibly 4 man roster. Sharyland has a similar problem in that they have 2 legit front runners a very solid 3rd a guy and a iffy 4-5 guy. This season is going to be my first season playing full varsity. I am so ready; I have been in the weight room 3 times a week building muscle for the upcoming season. Also I have been doing shooting, dribbling, and defensive workouts with a trainer once a week and by myself 4 times a week. I just came back from a trip to Missouri State on academics, but that is not what I want to go to school for so it's now or never for me to get recruited I have to catch somebody's eye. This is the fifth game of my first year of football. I didnt do much as the defense held me to only 3 catches the whole game for 22 yards. I had a punt return for 15 yards. The last game I had 8 cathes for 108 yards and a punt return for a 54 yard touchdown. Check up on how I did on game 6 of my football career comming up this friday at Donna High School.

Fall Season

Fall season is definatly different this year. Our new head coach is also a football coach so we usually have to start practice without him. We only have 4 seniors this year and 6 returners total. So Open field is a big deal to us. I get if you play another sport if you can't come but you girls who think you're gonna make it and don't do anything else and don't show up to practice, you'll have a rude awakening this year. One team that has really come on is Aztec, which trumped KC and Farmington to establish itself as a legitimate threat in District 1-4A. tough loss for reagan at the city cup. we played a team in the final round that we played two days before(we lost 6-0). but the tournament was revenge for us. we put up a great fight but got scored on in the last 20 seconds leaving the score 2-1. once again, for the third year in a row, we take 2nd in the city cup tournament.......
