| Four players from Miami University's softball team were selected to play on the Mid-American Conference All-Star team that played against Team USA on its KFC Bound for Beijing Tour on June 23. Senior Breanna Robinson (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic), sophomore Sarah Billstrom (Douglasville, Ga./Chapel Hill), sophomore Alicia Hogl (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) and freshman Meghan Mawn (Long Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) all saw action against Team USA's Monica Abbott as the team tuned up for it
