| Rome, Ga. - In the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Publication Awards announced this week at the 2008 NAIA-Sports Information Directors of America Convention, Shorter College took the first place award in the Softball Brochure Contest. Additionally, Shorter placed tied for seventh in the Web site Contest and 10th in the Walt McAlexander Baseball Brochure
