Man Charged With Theft of Earnhardt Cutout, Which Now Is Destined For Charity Auction

A 42-year-old man was charged Monday with stealing a 5-foot cardboard likeness of the late NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt from a Wawa convenience store, where the cutout was being used to promote a candy bar. Johnnie Wayne Murrah was charged with theft under $100, state police said. The cutout was stolen March 12 and returned April 1.
