| KENT, Ohio ' The Kent State University track and field teams opened the 2006-07 indoor season by hosting the Golden Flash Gala at the Kent State Field House. The unscored, two-day meet wrapped up Dec. 9 with a number of field and running events. Kent State ran a limited number of athletes in this weekend's meet, but the event was a success according to Director of Track and Field Bill Lawson.
