| The Duke University Athletic Department lost a member of its family on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with the passing of field hockey assistant coach Maria Whitehead. Whitehead was 25 and lost a battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 5 p.m. in the Duke Chapel.
