| February 20. TIMPVIEW High School nipped rival East on the final event of the Utah 4A Girls High School State Championships, to take the team crown. Murray High had an easier time of it, earning the boys' title with a 42-point margin over Spring Valley and Orem. The meet took place on the weekend of February 3-4 at the University of Utah.
