| KEEPING PACE: Paul Johnson led top-ranked UCLA to a pair of wins over No. 5 UC-Santa Barbara and No. 9 CS-Northridge, securing the Bruins a second-place finish in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation regular season standings. UCLA has won six straight matches. Johnson tallied 31 kills, six aces and eight blocks in the two victories. The senior middle blocker hit .520 on the week and was selected MPSF Player of the Week for his outstanding performances.
